More than 500 kids from the St. Louis area joined Rams' wide receiver Isaac Bruce for a FREE football clinic that took place at Rams Park on Saturday, June 1. The free clinic provided youth the opportunity to work on their football skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork skills, while building self-esteem both on and off the field. Each participant received a T-shirt and refreshments as well as had the opportunity to meet Isaac, Aeneas Williams, and Torry Holt.
The Isaac Bruce Foundation Football Clinics were sponsored by Performance Chiropractic & Medicine, Chick-Fil-A, Gatorade, Homer Sedighi D.M.D, P.C, and the Isaac Bruce Foundation. A special thanks to Kohl's for providing more than 30 outstanding volunteers throughout the day.
The Isaac Bruce Foundation focuses on health, wellness, nutrition, fitness and education. Through the foundation, Isaac reaches out to youth and teaches them at an early age the importance of a healthy lifestyle with an emphasis on education. To date, the Isaac Bruce Foundation has donated more than a quarter of a million dollars in grants in scholarships, fed more than 2,500 families in partnership with Feed the Children, had more than 3,300 kids participate in our free football clinics, donated more than 1,000 autographed items to other charities for raffles and auctions to help them raise money, and rewarded more than 700 student athletes with tickets to a NFL game for their work in the community and the classroom.
