Another St. Louis area scholarship in the amount of $2,500 was awarded to Jacqueline Bownes of East St. Louis High School. A Fort Lauderdale scholarship in the amount of $2,500 was awarded to Shakira Chery of Coconut Creek High School of Broward County Public Schools.

SAVE THE DATE! The IBF's FREE football clinic will be held on Saturday, June 2 at Gateway STEM High School. Registration will open on April 1 and is open to the public. Space is limited to the first 250 youth in each of the two sessions (8-10 years from 9-11 a.m. and 11-13 years from 12-2 p.m.). 

Flight 300 applications are available now! The Flight 300 program will cover the cost of one-way airfare, bus, or other transportation for a student with all the pieces in place to attend college but unable to afford to get there.

Former wide receiver Isaac Bruce is one of 27 semifinalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2018, and that’s the good news for the former Rams’ star. The bad is that this class of wide receivers is loaded, with Randy Moss joining a group that already included Bruce, Terrell Owens, Torry Holt and Hines Ward.

Isaac Bruce won’t get the chance to address the room that decides if he’s worthy of The Hall.

But I wondered, what would he say?

Isaac Bruce Foundation scholarship applications are now available!  The IBF offers a scholarship presented by Ameren Corporation to a St. Louis area graduating high school senior student each year as well as a scholarship to a student at the University of Memphis and a scholarship to a Broward County Public Schools student in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. 

The Isaac Bruce Foundation has announced the winners of the 2017 Isaac Bruce Foundation Scholarships in St. Louis, Fort Lauderdale, and Memphis.  The St. Louis scholarship in the amount of $5,000 presented by Ameren Corporation was awarded to Emily Rhodes of Affton High School.  The Fort Lauderdale scholarship in the amount of $2,500 was awarded to Brianna Nargisa from Miramar High School of Broward County Public Schools.  The University of Memphis scholarship in the amount of $2,500 was awarded to Stephen Hall of Family Christian Academy in Old Hickory, Tenn.

Isaac Bruce surprised the winner of the $5,000 Isaac Bruce Foundation Scholarship presented by Ameren Corporation today at Affton High School.  Congratulations to Emily Rhodes who will be attending Missouri State next year.  Bruce was joined by D-Lori Newsome-Pitts from Ameren.

The IBF is thrilled to announce a $50,000 commitment to the St. Louis Public Schools to provide new, relevant, high-interest literature back to the libraries in the SLPS schools. The grant is part of the IBF’s continuing commitment to literacy and education in the St. Louis area.

On Tuesday, April 18, the Isaac Bruce Foundation joined with PNC through the PNC Foundation to build a playground for kids at the Flance Early Learning Center.

The Isaac Bruce Foundation’s Flight 300 Program provides transportation to college bound students in need.  In short, this program will cover the cost of one-way airfare, bus, or other transportation for a student with all the pieces in place to attend college but unable to actually afford to get there.  We can arrange transportation to the airport, pay to check bags, cover the cost of the flight and have transportation waiting to pick them up to take them to campus! 

To request a copy of the application, email info@isaacbruce.org and include your current high school and city as well as which scholarship you are applying for (St. Louis, Broward County, or University of Memphis).  Deadline is April 3, 2017.

The Isaac Bruce Foundation was proud to provide Thanksgiving dinner to 50 families this year.

The Isaac Bruce Foundation partnered with the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, St. Louis Blues, and St. Louis Cardinals to sponsor the Motion for Kids party at Chaifetz Arena on December 10.

The event itself was outstanding. Bruce and his foundation went above and beyond to give St. Louis football fans one last feel good moment inside the Dome. Not only were people treated to an entertaining flag football game, but beforehand they were also able to snap photos, get autographs and shake the hands of the many players and coaches that gave them their biggest thrill as fans.

More than three dozen former Rams players were on hand for the game, most from the Greatest Show on Turf era of Super Bowls and touchdowns, touchdowns and more touchdowns.

Let's play! Families are invited to join Isaac Bruce, the Isaac Bruce Foundation, The Magic House (and the world!) for a giant play date on Saturday, September 20 to celebrate Worldwide Day of Play.  With the support of the Isaac Bruce Foundation, The Magic House will be participating in this playful event with a variety of fun outdoor activities throughout the day.  From 12-2pm Isaac Bruce will be on hand along with Rams mascot Rampage to play with kids and get them moving with fun football activities and drills.  The event will also freature Rams Play 60 fitness activities.
