Holiday Gala Recap - 2nd Annual

On Monday, December 3, 2007, Rams' wide receiver Isaac Bruce hosted the 2nd Annual Isaac Bruce Foundation Holiday Gala at the Kemp Auto Museum in Chesterfield. The Isaac Bruce Foundation focuses on health, wellness, nutrition, fitness and education. Through the foundation, Isaac reaches out to youth and teaches them at an early age the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

The Isaac Bruce Foundation Holiday Gala featured a performance by Saturday Night Live alum Dean Edwards, live music by DRZHIVEGAS, and a live and silent auction featuring unique memorabilia, trips and experiences. The event also featured healthy and organic tasting stations from some of St. Louis' top restaurants including Chocolate Cafe and Coffee House, Cornerstone Nutrition & Coffeehouse, Dolce, Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Gian-Tony's, Jamaica Irie, Joe Boccardi's, Serendipity, Stir Crazy, Trader Joe's, Vin de Set, Wild Oats, and many more. Drinks were provided by Glaceau vitaminwater, Anheuser Busch, and Brown Forman.

The event raised more than $68,000 for the Isaac Bruce Foundation. Since it is the season of giving, each attendee was asked to bring a pair of new kids' shoes to the event. More than 140 pairs of shoes were collected and donated to Neighborhood Houses to give needy children the opportunity to be active.
